Erik C. Baker, President and CEO of Parker-Douglas Insurance, has been active in the insurance industry since he graduated from West Virginia University in 2002. He began his career as a sales associate for a large insurance brokerage in Charlotte, North Carolina where he quickly advanced to the position of the agency‘s commercial lines department manager. In two short years, he built a team and lead the department to staggering growth, which quickly branded the agency as one of the top commercial insurance firms in the state.

In December of 2005, at the age of 25, Erik decided to pursue his dream of owning his own insurance firm and found that opportunity in Denver, Colorado. In February of 2006, after rapidly growing his start-up agency, he acquired Parker Insurance Agency in Parker, Colorado. Over the next ten years he has helped build and cultivate an extraordinary team of insurance professionals and lead the organization to become what is now Parker-Douglas Insurance. Today the agency has the ability to create exclusive insurance programs for various industries and is one of the largest insurance brokerage firms in the country.
